About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join RELX Trading Australia Pty Limited Company as a Content Developer - Regulatory Compliance Specialist within our Regulatory Compliance team. You will be responsible for the overall development, content commissioning, and market awareness of the Regulatory Compliance financial services portfolio. You will also be responsible for management of author relationships, customer relationships, content development initiatives relating to the portfolio.

Effective communication with external stakeholders (Regulators, Corporate Compliance Officers, Specialist Lawyers and Consultants) and internal stakeholders is key to the role. You may also take an active role in pre-sales activities with customers to directly support business acquisition and market penetration.

Reporting to the Content Manager, Currency and Customer Discovery, this is a permanent full-time role to be based from a location that offers a healthy work-life balance. We promote a flexible work arrangement that suits your needs.

If you have strong content publishing or content editing experience with a Law degree and have previously worked within Financial Services or regulatory compliance, then this role might interest you.

Responsibilities
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the financial services portfolio
  • Applying knowledge and customer insights to ensure currency, relevance, and accessibility of content
  • Identifying and implementing plans to harvest or discontinue underperforming modules
  • Communicating process, timeliness, and quality improvements
  • Supporting new content development proposals and implementation
  • Directly supporting new business acquisition and market penetration
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with operational editorial teams
  • Engaging proactively in pre-sales activities with customers
Requirements
  • Law degree and a successful history of experience in content publishing and/or legal/regulatory compliance. Background in financial services compliance preferred.
  • Be able to demonstrate drafting experience and a good working knowledge of the publishing process
  • Have demonstrated extensive project/product development experience
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and collaborative working skills
  • Possess sound commercial/business acumen
  • Possess a deep understanding of the legal landscape and/or regulatory compliance
  • Be proficient in problem-solving and project management
