Launched in 2017, Envirostream has developed safe and innovative management solutions for one of the Australian waste industry's biggest challenges - that of battery disposal.
We are in search of a Maintenance & Engineering Supervisor who is experienced and driven to manage our Laverton North and Campbellfield facilities.
This role involves overseeing the maintenance team, developing, and executing maintenance plans through the maintenance management system (MMS), ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and providing support for engineering projects.
Responsibilities include:
Lead the maintenance team to conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance, oversee new equipment installations and upgrades as part of project activities
Ensure that safety and quality assurance practices are executed into all maintenance activities and manage corrective actions to incidents in a timely manner
Plan and manage the daily workload and priorities of the maintenance/technical teams
Develop and implement maintenance procedures and checklists
Manage inventory of critical and maintenance spare parts to reduce machine downtime
Execute the maintenance plan with ongoing measurement of performance, achievement of scheduled deadlines and allocating resources appropriately
Maintain a "hands-on" role with technical support of the maintenance team and associated contractors during maintenance or project works
Complete monthly reporting on unplanned maintenance activities, unplanned downtime and plant availability
Experience working in the storage, transport, and handling of dangerous goods along with a trade certificate or tertiary qualification in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical, or plumbing would be highly regarded.
