Job Title: Engine Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Engine Field Service Technician to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers across various industries, including automotive, mining, and industrial and agricultural.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, working on an on-call roster.
  • Diagnose and repair engines, inspect and replace components as required, and perform engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues or incidents to the Service Supervisor.
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards).
  • Previous field service experience is advantageous.
  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products.
  • Previous workshop exposure would be highly regarded.
  • Solid diagnostic, electronic, and IT capabilities.
  • Valid Australian Driver's license required.
