This role will lead the procurement function by managing the team and provide expert and authoritative advice on complex issues and extending that guidance to business units.

The role will focus on development and delivery of EPA's procurement and contract management frameworks and overseeing compliance with EPA and Victorian Government's overarching procurement standards, policies and practices

About You:


To be successful in this role you will possess full current membership with Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Australasia (CIPSA) or equivalent.

You will have demonstrated experience in leading a procurement and contracting function in the public sector and understanding of the VGPB procurement objectives.

You will also have demonstrated experience of conducting and managing complex procurements which are high value and/or high risk in accordance with Victorian Government probity requirements.

You will have experience in providing strategic advice to the CEO and Executive team. You will also have detailed knowledge of Victorian Government Purchasing Board framework and State Purchase Contracts.
