What you'll love:

Step into a role where you can deepen your knowledge within general administration and support in the areas of accounts payable, procurement, and records management. You'll work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on a range of activities such as handling customers queries, purchases and processing assisting, maintaining office supplies and much more. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Being the go-to person in the office and adapting your day to fit with different schedules
  • Ensuring all requests from clients/customers are answered and actioned promptly
  • Maintaining our operating system
  • Checking supplier invoices, managing debtors and reconciliations
  • Subcontractor services and associated invoicing
  • Administer and maintain logistics records
  • Month-end processing, plant tracking, reporting, and data integrity
  • Daily processing of time sheets
  • Weekly completion of payroll to Head Office
  • Assist with health, safety, environment and quality administration

Who you are:

  • You have worked in a similar role, business administration/accounts, ideally within waste management or mining environments
  • You're a great communicator, with the ability to engage with customers and staff
  • You've got strong PC literacy and experience with MS Office, particularly Excel
  • You're great at problem solving, with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • You're solutions oriented, can work autonomously and are team oriented
  • You are flexible and adaptable to business needs, possess a positive attitude and have a sense or urgency
  • You've got high attention to detail
