About the role

An exciting and diverse role opportunity for a passionate Injury Management Coordinator to join our team.

Sitting within our Human Resources team, this role will involve end to end support and assistance for employees in a safety and injury management space. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining injury management plans, managing workers compensation and return to work cases.

Some daily duties will include:

  • Use our Health and Safety management system to file all relevant documentation related to employee injury case management.
  • Manage all claim cases for employee workers compensation cases.
  • Be involved in promotion of Health and Safety benefits within the business to employees.
  • Liaise with and support management on wellbeing issues and the return to work of employees.
  • Maintain contact with site management and/or injured employees, where appropriate, to monitor the progress of their recovery and return to work.
  • Provide operational administrative support to the local People & Culture team when required.

About you

Your passion for variety and helping others along with a desire to work within a collaborative team will see you succeed in this role. You are a dedicated individual, show attention to detail and have a demonstrated ability to build relationships and rapport within the business.

As well as this you will:

  • Come from a similar role and have an understanding of the construction industry (preferred).
  • Have a strong passion and commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace.
  • Possess a high level of confidentiality and understanding for all employee information.
  • Have a strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) principles.
  • Possess strong communication skills with an ability to build relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Be able to work effectively within a team to ensure workload is prioritised to achieve daily objectives.
  • Enjoy having a role that you can make your own and add value too.
