About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Injury Management Specialist to join our team at Go Auto Insurance. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee well-being and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert advice on workers' compensation and return-to-work strategies.
- Coordinating return-to-work plans for employees with work-related injuries or illnesses.
- Developing and implementing injury management programs in collaboration with employees, medical professionals, and management.
- Maintaining relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Coordinating workplace assessments and providing payment instructions for workers' compensation claims.
- Preparing and submitting reports on workers' compensation claims and non-work-related injuries.
- Maintaining accurate records of workers' compensation claims and non-work-related injuries.
About You:
- Strong understanding of workers' compensation legislation and regulations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Highly motivated and proactive, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated patience and sensitivity when working with complex matters.
- Degree-qualified in Occupational Therapy, Safety, or a related field (desired but not necessary).
- Proven experience in an injury management role, with prior exposure to third-party triaging (desired).
