The successful candidate should be based in the Brush Country Submarket, which includes offices in Robstown, Edinburg, Laredo, and Harlingen.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Agricultural Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of eight years of progressive banking or related agricultural lending experience, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial role.

FUNCTIONS:

  • Report to the Market/Regional President, create budgets for the market team, hire and train employees, and oversee goal achievement. Manage loan portfolios and approve loan requests within delegated limits. Collaborate with other Market Leaders.
  • Work with Regional VP of Sales on lending strategies. Develop efficient loan processes, comply with credit policies, and stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
  • Implement marketing strategies, assist with collections, and coordinate with the Credit Team on lending activities.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of accounting/financial systems, specialized finance principles, and strong credit skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and financial analyses.
