We are in need of a skilled Mid-level IT Project Manager – Ecommerce, Shopify, Magento, Digital to support the lead PM in overseeing the technology delivery of a new ecommerce platform for a leading retail business.

This presents an exciting opportunity for an individual with ecommerce technology expertise to drive various enhancements throughout their business. You will collaborate with the lead PM to manage professional services and specialized ecommerce providers, ensuring the achievement of strategic business objectives that enhance customer engagement and drive revenue growth.

In the capacity of IT Project Manager – Ecommerce, Shopify, Magento, Digital, you will work alongside the Lead PM to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop, maintain, monitor, and coordinate project schedules, budgets, and timelines
  • Organize technical teams for project delivery
  • Track and report on project progress, milestones, timelines, and budget compliance
  • Participate in meetings to identify and resolve issues that could impact schedule, costs, or quality
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Support the Lead PM in reporting to the Executive sponsor and steering committee, as well as applying SCRUM methodology for project guidance

The role:

  • Position based in Sydney CBD onsite
  • 5-month contract
  • Part-time - Maximum 3 days per week

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a Mid-level / Junior Project Manager or Project Coordinator position
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Ecommerce, Shopify, Magento in a corporate or commercial setting
  • Agile/Scrum experience, preferably certified
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing relationships with external partners
  • Proactive and action-oriented approach
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and engage with multiple stakeholders collaboratively
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with attention to detail in report writing
