The Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM)/ Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong strategic partnerships with a dedicated panel of high-value Vero brokers. SBDMs collaborate with underwriters, claims, and credit teams to provide customer-focused service, supporting brokers in expanding their business. They participate in joint strategy development, objective setting, and ensure activities are executed to drive growth and satisfaction.

What you'll do (including but not limited to):

  • Establish strong partnerships with key staff in broker offices, aligning with service and value propositions
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of each broker's business, including structure, culture, clients, and objectives
  • Foster internal relationships to enhance service and value alignment
  • Engage key stakeholders in strategic planning to drive growth initiatives
  • Manage activities to ensure optimal outcomes.

What you will bring:

  • Experience in insurance and broking
  • Proven sales experience and understanding of sales principles
  • Knowledge of the insurance market, products, and underwriting
  • Familiarity with medium to large business operations (Highly preferred)
  • Understanding of the broker landscape and key players.
