As an Account Manager, you will be accountable for retaining customers and growing the revenue and gross margin of a designated portfolio.

The Account Manager in the international carrier team is to own, manage and develop business relationships with international and domestic carrier customers.

  • This role is accountable for managing and developing a customer revenue portfolio in the International Carrier and Strategic Accounts team. You will be responsible for achieving revenue and sales targets via proactive sales development and actively targeting and closing business opportunities.
  • You will manage the endtoend customer relationship and be viewed as a trusted advisor who understand the customers objectives, buying criteria, decision making processes.
  • This role will play a key part in the execution of the Wholesale division overall strategy including sales & marketing strategies communicated by management.
  • Assist in fostering a culture of collaboration and problem solving to achieve team objectives, where relevant providing support outside of your direct responsibilities.
  • You will maintain and update all key systems and document campaign outcomes including complete contractual and order paperwork throughout the management of your portfolio to ensure accurate data is presented to management.
  • You will ensure the proactive and timely resolution of any issues by escalating it to your manager and provide regular updates to your customers during issue resolution.
  • You will understand the full product suite and services offered by the Company to sell the benefits and value offered to customers in the current market state. Identify opportunities to exceed the expectations of customers through innovative product offerings.

Knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of the large carrier and RSP telecommunications market and key business drivers
  • Leveraging on built relationships within the industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Commercially astute
  • Management of high value business development portfolios, including the management of multimillion dollar opportunity pipelines and individual deals.
