The Role
This role is responsible for managing aspects of the end-to-end process for applications under the National Redress Scheme. Under limited direction, you are accountable for organising your workflow and escalating risks and issues when needed.
You will have exposure to sensitive material and may have exposure to difficult issues that could require liaising with a range of internal stakeholdersKey responsibilities include:
conduct detailed research and analysis to correctly associate participating institution/s and identify non participating institutionsprepare complex request for information packagescollect and validate information from participating institutionskeep accurate and comprehensive records (including report writing, case notes, and official records)work independently, with high attention to detail, to meet individual and team targetsDevelop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Demonstrate self-awareness and ability to self-manage in a complex, changing environment whilst in a diverse team with high workload in a high risk environment.
Ensure the timely progression of applications to support trauma informed best practice.Skills and Experience:

Respond flexibly to change and maintain a constructive approach to problem solving.
Demonstrate judgement and common sense when solving problems and developing solutionsDemonstrate empathy and understanding and communicate effectively in a trauma informed wayAssist in building a culture that is supportive of staff and your own wellbeingAssist in building a culture that focuses on outcomes by identifying opportunities for sharing of knowledge and improvement of processes.
Communicate and follow direction provided by team leader.Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and targets of the team.

Candidates who do not currently hold a Baseline must be able to obtain and maintain this level of clearance.
