What does the job look like?

Linfox is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the sourcing and category management of software, hardware, telecommunications, and professional services to support our Analytics, Design, and Information Technology (ADIT) business unit.

You will play a crucial role in managing procurement activities, overseeing vendor selection processes, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.


Key responsibilities:

  • Source and manage procurement activities for ADIT software, hardware, licensing and project contracts (SOWs).
  • Lead crossfunctional teams in managing RFP/RFQ processes and oversee competitive bids, ensuring effective governance and probity in the IT procurement process.
  • Negotiate commercial terms for new IT contracts (software, services and hardware) and work closely with the ADIT & Linfox Legal department to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, with assistance from Linfox legal department, including negotiation of terms and conditions, risk mitigation, and achieving value for money outcomes.
  • Interact extensively with ADIT, including the CIO, ADIT Group Managers, and Linfox Legal.
  • Maintain an IT Contract Register and manage IT Contract Labour Panel contracts.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology procurement of hardware, software, services, maintenance & support, SaaS and licensing agreements.
  • Proven experience managing complex contracts with large global providers, such as Microsoft and SAP.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to write RFQs, RFIs, RFPs, and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT and ability to effectively communicate with IT professionals.
  • Extensive experience in governance and process background.
  • Ability to work independently is a must, including the ability to develop, manage, and prioritize work plans effectively.
