What does the job look like?

Our Fleet & Procurement business is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance & Claims Manager to join their team based at our General Head Office in Essendon Fields.

As the Insurance & Claims Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the insurance programs and claims processes across our operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organisation by mitigating risks, ensuring compliance, and maximizing insurance coverage while effectively managing claims. Key areas:

- Responsible for all end to end insurance claims processes across Australia, New Zealand and Asia
- End to end management of large, complex insurance losses across multi-line insurance policies
- Responsible for the development of the claims team to drive a high performance culture
- Provide reports and loss data to key stakeholders in regards to insurance claims and industry information
- Negotiate outcomes with third party insurers to obtain best, cost effective outcome for the business
- Report and analysis of financial data, identify trends and forecasting to inform business decisions
- Collate and prepare Insurance Program Renewal Underwriting information in a timely and accurate manner
- Identify and support the t raining programs required to upskill team members in claims & insurance
- Drive and deliver best practice insurance solutions outcomes for the business

Are you the one?

You are a self-motivated professional that has previous leadership experience managing small teams. You are detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities. You can demonstrate:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Motor Vehicle Claims, Claim Recoveries, or Insurance Industry
- Have moderate to advanced skills with full Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP would be highly regarded
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Sound written communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders
- Results orientated, and able to work under pressure
