The Role

Full time position, working in-between multiple sites covering Belconnen, Phillip, Tuggeranong, Queanbeyan, Yass, Young.

With a focus on business development, establish and maintain strong relationships with local employers. In addition to employer connections create strong ties within the community and bring to life our vision to be the best provider of employment and training solutions in the country.

By leveraging industry knowledge in your local area, connect with the RIGHT employer groups to achieve successful partnerships. Contribute the goals of the employment service industry through lead generation. Ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, can think outside the box and able to work autonomously.

An understanding of case management needs for job seekers with barriers to employment would be beneficial, but training will be provided. This position requires regular travel. A driver's license is essential, travel costs are covered.

Duties

  • Generate leads and source vacancies that are tailored to jobseekers' skills
  • Cultivate and maintain industry, employer, and community links
  • Seek and secure new business
  • Analyse local labour markets to provide coaching and advice to job seekers, employers, and team members
  • Regular attendance of networking events and marketing of participants to employers
