· Preparation and production of various Filipino bread, loaves, cakes, and pastries

· Performing tasks such as kneading, maturing, glazing, cutting, molding, mixing, and shaping dough & pastry products

· Coordinating the various stages of Filipino bread, loaves, rolls, cakes, and pastry production including forming, loading, baking, de-panning, unloading, and cooling.

· Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients

· Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.

· Monitoring and adjusting oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times to ensure proper baking.

· Mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and other pastries.

· Prepare custom-made cakes and pastries based on customer's preferences e.g. birthday cakes.

· Familiarity with all professional bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters.

· Overseeing stock levels and placing orders, as needed.

· Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.

· Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitised and prepared for the next shift.

· To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and professional appearance

· To work well with a team and create good working relationships within all areas of the bakery.

· To provide guidance and direction to the kitchen team by training and helping them achieve their full potential.
