Deep understanding and knowledge of crafting various Filipino breads, loaves, cakes, and pastries.

  • Preparation and production of various Filipino bread, loaves, cakes, and pastries
  • Performing tasks such as kneading, maturing, glazing, cutting, molding, mixing, and shaping dough & pastry products
  • Coordinating the various stages of Filipino bread, loaves, rolls, cakes, and pastry production including forming, loading, baking, depanning, unloading, and cooling.
  • Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
  • Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
  • Monitoring and adjusting oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times to ensure proper baking.
  • Mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and other pastries.
  • Prepare custommade cakes and pastries based on customer's preferences e.g. birthday cakes.
  • Familiarity with all professional bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters.
  • Overseeing stock levels and placing orders, as needed.
  • Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
  • Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitised and prepared for the next shift.
  • To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and professional appearance
  • To work well with a team and create good working relationships within all areas of the bakery.
  • To provide guidance and direction to the kitchen team by training and helping them achieve their full potential.
