Position Overview: The Marketing Team Leader will lead the development and implementation of the marketing strategy to enhance market share growth in Australia and New Zealand. This position requires a strategic individual with demonstrated leadership abilities and a profound grasp of marketing principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute channel sales objectives and strategies for independent, strategic partnerships, competitor owner retailers, contract businesses, and government sectors.
  • Collaborate in creating channel-specific programs to attract profitable channel partners.
  • Analyze the market to pinpoint geographical areas of opportunity.
  • Establish relationships with industry stakeholders to drive commercial results.

Our client is looking for an Area Sales Manager to join the team in WA. In this role, you will be accountable for sales activities within a specific territory. The ASM will build and manage a sales pipeline, oversee accounts, and handle channel distribution for our cutting-edge technology in the designated area. Day-to-day tasks involve working closely with new customers to determine product alignment and close deals. You will engage with our distribution partners in the region to ensure progress and adequate support. This role encompasses all commercial activities in the designated territory, requiring independent work, proactive behavior, relationship building skills, and the ability to understand diverse industry needs to deliver additional value.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain leads and opportunities pipelines for direct and indirect sales.
  • Consult and follow up with prospects to solidify fit and value proposition, converting them into opportunities.
  • Source new sales opportunities through various lead generation methods.
  • Manage and drive sales objectives and growth strategy within the territory.
  • Guide opportunities through the purchasing process, organizing presentations and demonstrations.
  • Build relationships with key accounts, foster brand awareness, and generate demand.
  • Participate in nationwide sales efforts, attending roadshows and tradeshows.
  • Travel to industrial sites for meetings and demonstrations.
  • Organize and execute tradeshows and roadshows nationally.
  • Assist with different sales projects as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Business Economics or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C Business Development.
  • Proficiency in Regional Sales Management.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
