About the role

Embark on an exciting opportunity as the Partner Marketing & Events Specialist at Auctane. In this role, you will concentrate on developing and implementing co-marketing and go-to-market strategies with strategic partners to boost referrals. Your responsibilities will involve fostering relationships with internal teams and external partners, serving as an expert on the partner ecosystem, and executing marketing strategies in collaboration with partners.

You will also drive lead generation through strategic events and trade shows, expand market presence in various industry verticals, and enhance partnerships through sponsorships and event participation.

This position works closely with the Australia, New Zealand (ANZ) business and leadership, global business development and partner management teams, content marketing, and sales teams. Collaborating with these teams to drive merchant growth through diverse marketing activities, including content creation, webinars, events, social media campaigns, case studies, and other innovative co-marketing endeavors. This role is part of the global marketing team and provides opportunities for career advancement and skills enhancement.

About the Team

Join our partner marketing team at Auctane, dedicated to increasing revenue for all products through enhanced referrals and annual recurring revenue via strategic partnerships and collaborative marketing efforts. With over 1,000 partners, including ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, carriers, and agencies such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, BigCommerce, Australia Post, Aramex, and CouriersPlease, our partners play a vital role in the success of the company.

What will you be doing?

  • Communications: Engage with key partners and internal stakeholders, lead meetings, set clear expectations, articulate strategic visions, and effectively present to diverse audiences.
  • Project management: Define and oversee cross-department projects, identify and address roadblocks, and provide solutions to ensure project success.
  • Strategy: Analyze business and marketing opportunities, establish goals and objectives, understand partner ecosystems and customer segments, and enhance team productivity through streamlined structures and processes.
  • Relationships: Cultivate partnerships based on mutual success, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and align efforts with product, business development, sales, and support teams.

  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in marketing roles.
