About the role


We are looking for an experienced Head of Enterprise PMO to manage and uplift Calvary's Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, focused on the design and delivery of nationally significant strategic programs, transparency across Calvary's priority programs, and embedding of strong change management practices across the organisation.


This role will provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a wider EPMO team, provide wider project and change management guidance to the broader Calvary community, ensuring improvement in the way programs, projects and change activities are designed and delivered.


Working closely with the national executive team and program sponsors, this role will ensure Calvary can deliver on its strategic intent, growth and operational strategy.


Your main duties will include:

Lead the ePMO team supporting their performance and development in program and change management.


Establish and maintain systems and procedures that monitor the delivery of project management and provide timely reporting to stakeholders including S&SD, NELT and Board on milestones, budget, timelines, change and resource usage.


Oversight of program delivery and change management - from design, support to business case development, planning and delivery of prioritised programs of work.

Support enterprise planning and prioritisation

Maturing and oversight of current frameworks, practices and processes for portfolio, program, project and change management

Proactively managing barriers and risks and ensuring program benefits are fully realised.

Embedding Agile practices where relevant, such as concepts of quarterly planning, cross-functional delivery teams for programs, and prioritisation.

About you

Tertiary qualifications within a health or business discipline with minimum 5 years' experience in portfolio, program and project delivery.

Demonstrated experience in managing EPMO functions to improve on program and change delivery across an organisation.


Experience in enabling multiple delivery methods and approaches to best suit the needs of programs - e.g., Traditional / waterfall approaches, Agile, Hybrid.

In depth understanding of project and change management principles and methods and substantial experience in the practical implementation.


Demonstrated experience in driving organisational understanding and adoption of portfolio, program and change management concepts such as quarterly planning, organisational change management, prioritisation.


Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to manage influence, communicate professionally with people at all levels and work across the executives of the organisation.

Ability to motivate and mentor team members, developing them into future leaders at Calvary.
