Psychologist Grade 5 – Coordinator of Psychology:

  • Parkville, Melbourne location
  • Work for Australia's leading Children's Hospital
  • Sabatical Leave cover until 2nd December 2024.

About the Role:

This is a Fixed Term Part Time position to cover Sabbatical leave for 5.5 months at 45.6 FTE per fortnight within the Mental Health Department.

You will be responsible for providing strong leadership to the psychologists across RCH through a combination of clinical supervision, strategic support, operational management and leadership, teaching/education and clinical expertise.

What you'll achieve:

  • Provide expert clinical supervision to provisional and registered psychologists within the service.
  • Ensure high quality, evidence-based psychology services are provided to RCh children and families
  • Provide professional oversight of all clinical work areas within the psychology discipline.

Classification for this position will be TT16 – Psychologist Grade 5

Your skills and experience:

  • You wil hold an accredited Master or Doctoral program in clinical psychology or health psychology
  • You will have at least 10 years' post-qualification experience as a clinical or health psychologist
  • At least 5 years of experience in Child/Adolescent Psychology
