ABOUT THE ROLE

Purpose of the Position:

  • Provide additional administrative support to the Operations team supporting the stores
  • Processes improvements to ensure consistency across both stores
  • Provide additional administrative support to the GM of Operations as required
  • Enhance and maintain stocktake procedures

Main Responsibilities:

  • Processing suppliers' invoices & monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Weekly supplier payment runs
  • Processing Stock transfers & Inventory adjustments
  • Liaise with warehouse and stores regarding Stock transfers & Dispatch
  • Liaise with warehouse, sales staff and suppliers to the expedite customer queries
  • Following up outstanding payments with customers for stock that has been delivered as required

Role Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Strong Accounts Payable /ERP experience (Pronto experience highly desirable)
  • Previous retail and administrative experience advantageous, particularly within the furniture industry
  • Strong data entry skills and high attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize workload are a must
  • Intermediate Excel skills highly regarded
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
