About the Role:
This is a remote role where you can work from anywhere in Australia. In this exciting role, you will develop courses for a broad variety of industries across Vocational and Higher Education.
You will assist with the development of a range online courses specifically in the field of Community Services, Business, Health and Animal Science, IT and Digital Design as well as NZMA and Yoobee Products as needed.
This role is required to scope new projects and engage with partners to gather requirements; analyse and contextualize existing course material on online delivery, design and develop content.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Develop learning and assessment materials in order to meet the needs of the learner cohort
- Course design conducted in accordance with relevant quality frameworks across HE and VET
- Develop compliant assessment tools/ course collateral that meet regulatory requirements
About You
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in developing curriculum and course content (learning and assessment) for online and campus delivery
- Developing compliant and meaningful learning content and assessments
- Conducting research and synthesize information from a variety of sources
- Writing effective instructional text, audio scripts and video scripts
- Developing interactive assets and working with webbased media
Skills and knowledge
- Sound understanding of Qualification Frameworks and levels
- Solid knowledge of related fields—usability and experience design, information design, communications and new technologies
- Work within tight timeframes and with competing priorities
- Provide student centric focus and delivery
- Have a willingness to collaborate and share knowledge
Qualifications
One of the following or similar:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Diploma of Vocational Education and Training
- Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate qualification in a relevant field e.g. eLearning/ Digital Learning, Educational Design and Development, Adult Education, Curriculum Design
