Fern Bay Motel are currently seeking casual Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping team. Our motels caters to a wide range of guests.

Task & Responsibilities

  • Cleaning of guests rooms as per schedule
  • Cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and floors
  • Vacuuming of rooms
  • Making beds to the required standard
  • Dusting and cleaning of furniture and mirrors
  • Ensure all rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities
  • Use appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly
  • Disposal of all waste
  • Report any maintenance required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Cleaning experience is preferable but not essential
  • A good eye for detail, be selfmotivated and be able to work in a team, as well as working on your own
  • Must be friendly, with great customer service and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster shifts between 9am 2pm. Yes we pay penalty rates.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia

About You
We are seeking someone who has a can-do attitude, great communication and customer service skills.

We require someone who has great attention to detail and able to retain our high standards in a busy and physically demanding position.

Prior cleaning experience is preferable but not essential, as training will be provided.
