**About the role**

We are looking for CASUAL Housekeeping Room Attendants for our Abode Hotel in Malua Bay.

As a member of the Housekeeping Team, you will hold the responsibility of cleaning guest rooms, ensuring the high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail is consistently met to exceed our guest’s expectations. You will be required to attend and participate in daily briefings, meetings and training sessions as scheduled and to use specialized equipment in the course of your work including vacuum cleaners, trolley’s, multi-line telephone systems and general cleaning equipment such as mops, buckets, cleaning chemicals including bleaching agents.

Room Attendant Duties Include:

- Cleaning of guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
- Re-stocking of hotel minibar items
- Regular deep cleaning actions
- Cleaning of guest corridors
- Undertaking sanitisation of high touch guest room areas

**Skills Required**:

- Dynamic, vibrant, confident and professional personality
- Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are serviced and cleaned daily to the Abode standards
- Ensure that housekeeping pantries and corridors maintain a high standard of presentation
- Ensure an adequate supply of clean linen in a good state of repair.
- Ensure that rooms are checked regularly for repairs and refurbishing and liaise with Housekeeping Manager and notify them of areas in need of attention pertaining to décor.
- Ensure that timesheets are completed daily and in accordance with Statutory regulations
- Ensure that adequate supplies of cleaning materials are available
- A current full Australian drivers’ licence is also highly desirable but not essential
- The flexibility to work various shifts on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country
