**Strategic Sourcing Manager - Woolworths Food Company

What you'll do

  • Design and lead the sourcing strategy for Own Brand Categories / Agile delivery you will effectively lead a group of categories agenda across the streams of work by bringing together the key stakeholders and driving the sourcing plan through strategic thinking, planning and negotiations.
  • Build the relevant capability necessary to deliver value to the Tribes and help, guide & support the chapter to develop and maintain the standards, quality and tooling relating to the delivery of their capability across the organisation.
  • Lead the sourcing activity, stakeholder and change management activities to support the annual operating plan
  • Horizontal leadership and stakeholder engagement there is a critical role to play in the management of key stakeholders across the Group, through delivering clear, independent and strategic insights and recommendations. Manage Governance and compliance through capability to develop the commercial elements of supply contracts including specification, price review mechanism, delivery & tenure in consultation with the legal team.

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience in retail or FMCG fastpaced working environment in Category Management and/or Sourcing with strong negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience delivering sourcing strategy with the ability to identify and implement truly crossfunctional solutions.
  • Experience in identifying trends and key financial risks, in order to assess the risks and opportunities for Woolworths and assist in the development of COGS initiatives
  • The ability to engage and communicate with all stakeholders with differing interests and priorities. Being able to adapt style and influencing skills to work effectively and collaboratively Previous demonstrated leadership skills and capabilities leading, coaching, developing teams
