Our integrated teams of Buyers, Product Developers, Brand Managers, Quality and packaging specialists work closely with our customer insights & sensory specialists, our chefs, nutritionists, brand and sustainability teams to deliver the best mix of quality, taste, innovation, nutrition and value for our customers.


The opportunity


The core purpose of this role is to drive key strategic projects or key work streams in major strategic and/or transformation projects across and within chapters/tribes, coordinating cross-functional teams and providing strategic guidance.

These projects represent the most significant strategic imperatives and sources of profitable growth for the company, which are often outside the 'day job' and which require additional resources to help think bigger, faster and sooner, and to effectively execute.


You will do this by:

  • Timely delivery of aligned outcomes for key strategic projects/key work streams in an agile consistent approach
  • Structuring problems, identifying data based insights and defining the plans of action to solve them
  • Build relevant strategic and transformation capabilities of our team and the broader WFC team (as needed)
  • Conducting workshops, key pieces of analysis and extracting key insights
  • Influencing and supporting key stakeholders to deliver impactful change
  • Injecting strategic and innovative thinking into the issues that the business faces
  • Driving key projects or key work streams in major projects including aligning on scope, approach, key outcomes and key results
  • Development and delivery of capability building focused training materials
  • Coaching junior team members

About you
We're looking for someone who can establish strong relationships with senior managers, with the ability to influence and engage. Drawing on your structured and rigorous approach, you are dedicated and results focused with a customer first mindset.

Ideally you'll also have:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a toptier strategy consultancy or corporate strategy team, with additional industry experience viewed favourably; as will be experience working in an Agile operating model
  • Demonstrated deep experience and knowledge of strategic problem solving and frameworks, with knowledge of project and transformationfocused change management being advantageous
  • Highly effective analytics and quantitative modelling
  • Superb written and oral communication with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience delivering executivelevel presentations and high impact workshops to drive clear outcomes, including ideation and prioritisation
  • Highly effective influencing skills in order to manage multiple stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Consumer market experience and/or retail experience is a strong advantage
