Our client, Australia's top supplier of premium polyurethane foams, is currently in search of a proactive and dependable self-starter to contribute to enhancing their customer experience.

This presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in retail or hospitality to transition into an office setting. The role initially offers temporary employment, with the potential for permanency for the right candidate. The full-time hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM, occasionally shifting to 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Process and input customer orders
  • Interact with customers to address inquiries regarding product details and pricing
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to customer queries
  • Cultivate relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns with empathy
  • Identify corrective measures and prepare necessary documentation
  • Support the sales team with customer communication and pricing updates
  • Advocate for safe work practices and compliance with company policies and regulations

Required skills:

  • Minimum of 12 months' customer service experience (preferably in a manufacturing or B2B/B2C setting)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage with customers at various business levels to build relationships
  • Efficient time management, multitasking, and task prioritization abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm for learning and development
