Position Overview:
We're looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual to join our newly established department within the agency.

As our Management Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of improving systems and processes that directly impact our partners' experience.

Collaborating with various teams, you'll enhance systems to ensure seamless interactions for both partners and customers.

Plus, you'll play a key role in tracking performance metrics, ensuring we remain accountable in safeguarding and enhancing the health of Washington's residents.

Responsibilities:

Analyze existing processes, establish new program management processes, and implement process improvement plans, prioritizing strategic objectives over administrative tasks.

Identify and implement processes for transdisciplinary collaboration, engaging internal teams, managers, analysts, and partners to ensure alignment with the global One Health integrated framework.

Work closely with leadership to develop and monitor relevant benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with the mission, emphasizing strategic decision-making.

Facilitate meetings and workshops with internal and external teams/partners, providing bidirectional consultation and training on established priorities, processes, and projects.

Research and evaluate potential new best practices, address training needs, and explore opportunities to enhance collaborative projects with partners, focusing on innovation and capacity building.

Develop and implement a communication strategy to ensure visibility and accessibility of our work across the organization and externally, collaborating with relevant offices to promote unified messaging.

Manage external websites and internal Share Point sites for the office, utilizing best practices to ensure effective information dissemination and accessibility.

Support strategic planning efforts, develop project selection and management processes, and provide expert analysis on complex issues impacting division-wide programs and policies.

Manage change effectively by developing best practices and strategies in collaboration with executives, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with organizational goals.

Collaborate with leadership and financial management to build a successful grant strategy and portfolio, aligning funding opportunities with the office's strategic priorities.

Provide additional administrative support including receiving, evaluating, triaging, tracking, and responding to verbal and written requests, participating in meetings, and contributing as a member of the Office Global One Health leadership team.


Required Qualifications:
You must meet one of the following qualification options and the additional experience criteria.

Option 2: 4 years of experience leading program development and project management, process development & improvement, evidence, data & policy analysis, performance management, and/or organizational development (time can be concurrent) AND at least 2 years of experience with strategic management.


Option 1:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, public health, health administration, or a related field AND 3 years of experience leading program management, process development & improvement, performance management, evidence, and policy analysis and organizational development projects

Additional Required Experience:
Demonstrated experience in engagement, communications, relationship management.
Demonstrated experience in matrix organizations, leading projects and managing change.
Demonstrated experience with data driven and evidence-based analysis.
Systems thinking and appetite for innovation a plus.
Highly adaptable and nimble individual who works well under uncertainty & ambiguity.
Demonstrated experience working with and supporting leadership or management.
