Elektos is offering casual assessor positions.

As a RAS assessor, you will be travelling to client's homes (over 65 year-olds) to conduct a home support assessments and to connect them to the services providers for the services that they need to stay living in their own homes.

Casual opportunities with flexible working hours

2 Positions are available in South East Sydney region and Northern Region

To be successful for this role you must:

  • Hold a current certificate in RAS Assessor qualification (SAO2) OR willingness to complete this training prior to delivering Regional Assessment Services.
  • Demonstrated experience working in either the Aged Care Sector, allied health or disability Sector
  • Have a good understanding of My Aged Care and the National Standards Assessment Framework (NSAF) or is willingness to learn.
  • Have a strengthbased approach to assessment, with a good understanding of Wellness, Reablement and increasing independence for older Australians.
  • High level computer literacy, including proficiency of typing and MS Office programs.
  • Hold a full current driving licence
  • Have your own car and prepared to travel to deliver assessment services in the client's own home.

Desirable skill set includes:

  • An understanding of risk assessment
  • Good network knowledge of your local area
  • Proactive, selfmotivated person with the capacity to follow due process.
  • Good team member, with excellent communication skills
  • Second language is a distinct advantage
  • Ability to work on online platforms such as My Aged Care Portal.
