About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Trainer and Assessor in Civil Construction Design to join our Faculty of Business and Technology at Design 2 Build.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and running units of competency in our learning management system, assisting in the development and implementation of training and assessment strategies, and creating and maintaining training materials.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design or higher, AUTOCAD certification, and experience in training and assessment. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.

The Trainer and Assessor will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering training programs in Civil Construction Design
  • Assessing student competency in Civil Construction Design
  • Providing feedback and guidance to students
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and assessment results
  • Collaborating with other trainers and assessors to develop and implement training and assessment strategies

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders. They will also have a strong understanding of ASQA compliance and other applicable standards and legislation.
