Our not-for-profit organisation delivers almost 400 diverse programs to UQ students, staff and alumni, as well as the general public, across the University's St Lucia and Gatton campuses.
About this Opportunity:
We're looking for an enthusiastic, personable and organised HR & Office Administrator to be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR/WHS team and UQ Sport corporate office.
You will have a can-do attitude and be a master of all things administration including, intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft 365 as well as a quick learner in customised HR and Payroll systems.
Reporting to the HR Manager you form part of a small team dedicated to providing an exceptional support service to UQ Sport.
In this role you will:
- Support the HR Department and wider organisation with administrative duties
- Be responsible for staff onboarding/offboarding activities including, contract administration, system administration, training, Induction presentations and uniforms
- Providing support with recruitment and learning and development activities
- Providing administrative and secretarial support to the CEO
- Contribute to company culture by assisting the team with the organisation and delivery of staff events
To be successful in this role you will:
- Cert IV in Human Resources or 12 months experience in HR or Administrative role
- Be highly organised with impeccable attention to detail
- Work well as part of a team with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
