Our client, a large Software Development company working in the eHealth sector, is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence / Power BI Consultant to join their growing team.

This is a permanent role, ideally based in Melbourne the client is flexible with WFH / Remote options available - within Aus / NZ (Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Tasmania, Auckland, Christchurch)

Purpose

To achieve the business' mission and goals by delivering modifiable, dependable and scalable business intelligence solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Previous commercial experience as a BI developer
  • Strong experience in designing and developing across the whole Microsoft BI stack
  • Power BI semantic model development and optimisation, and advanced DAX knowledge
  • Power BI report and app development, publishing, security
  • Power Query and TSQL – query development and tuning
  • Data Warehousing ETL
  • Azure Data Factory, SSIS, TSQL
  • Azure SQL database/SQL serve
  • Experience of interpreting requirements and developing these into Power BI solutions
  • Strong communication and customer facing skills
  • Experience of analysing and resolving customer support issues

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of Scaled Agile methodology ·
  • Experience in retail and/or health verticals
