In this role, you'll:

Leading a team of communications and engagement specialists; you will provide expert advice in the management of engagement programs while building and sustaining relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Take the helm of delivering key communication and engagement content, plans and programs for the benefit of customers, the community and various stakeholder groups. You will be ensuring projects have communication and engagement strategies that can convey technical information to non-technical parties.

Work closely with the Director of the Resilience Hub and other members of the team, your day to day could include anything from internal communication, ministerial responses, pitching strategies, ensuring material is presented correctly, and more.

This is a fixed term full time role until Aug 2025 that will see you embedded in works all across the hub and be part of projects that have a positive impact on a broad community.

About you

You're an experienced professional who has demonstrated experience in a similar function where you have implemented communication campaigns, and ideally, had exposure to doing so in a government or disaster-related environment.

In addition to your experience, your communication skills are top notch (writing, presenting, etc), as are your skills in project management, relationship building, problem solving, and managing competing priorities.

Proven experience and skills matter most so if you meet the above please consider reaching out with an application, but an added bonus would be to have relevant qualifications and software proficiency (MS Suite, Photoshop, etc).
