Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
Selection criteria to be addressed:
- Possess an undergraduate degree in health with significant recent critical care clinical experience in a health care setting and/or equivalent work experience in a complex health care setting relevant to clinical governance and process improvement.
- Demonstrated high level problem solving, analytical, research skills, and project management, this includes developing and implementing solutions to complex critical incidents or identified adverse incident trends.
- A sound understanding of, and demonstrated ability to implement patient safety and clinical quality principles and processes, combined with a working knowledge of quality management systems used to review and monitor Serious Adverse Event Reviews.
- High level oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and experience in providing expert advice to multi disciplines including senior medical and clinical groups, both internal and external to the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of detailed and complex reports and briefs.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, make judgements and organise high volumes of workload with competing deadlines.
- Ability to travel in accordance with the requirements of the position.
