About the opportunity


We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our Land Information team on a permanent, full-time basis in this exciting period of growth in Blacktown City Council.


You will be responsible for maintaining the Land Information System (LIS) data, addressing, numbering, road naming and locality naming, ensuring a high degree of accuracy.

Provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction for all dealings in LIS information to internal and external customers.


Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in LIS or a related field
  • Experience in LIS
  • Current Class "C" driver's licence.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations.

Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.

  • Entry level for this position starts at $1,342.43 per week
  • 35hour working week
  • Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
  • Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 10.5% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
