About the Role

  • Lead and support management in reporting and improvement initiatives relevant to Metro South Health Outpatient Services aligning evidencebased practice with Quality Frameworks.
  • Maintain skills and knowledge in the management of specialist outpatient services and a broad knowledge of contemporary issues relating to the provision of health services in specialist outpatient and primary services.
  • Provide knowledge and advice regarding nonadmitted activity classification (Corporate Clinic Codes, Tier 2), definitions and counting rules, and the correct capture and reporting for Queensland Health Nonadmitted Patient Data Collection (QHNAPDC) and Activity Based Funding (ABF).
  • Advanced planning and coordination skills in establishing structures and systems that support change and innovation. Work in collaboration with Assistant Director of Nursing, nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team across all facilities to achieve highquality patient outcomes.
