The Role:
Reporting directly to the State Sales Manager, our client is seeking a highly driven sales representative to join their inside sales team.
The main goal is to create brand awareness, work your established networks and leave no stone unturned in an effort to achieve revenue & volume growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support national sales and marketing activities promoting the import/ export services we can offer.
- Identify and qualify prospective business /new clients, quote, follow up and close.
- Manage and develop new trade lanes for smaller existing clients.
- Use CRM tools to demonstrate activity, hit agreed call cycles and help build/update our database.
- Develop industry/ commodity strategies and execute as you see fit.
- Inbound and outbound sales.
- Management of Sales Campaigns.
- Perform market research to develop a market intelligence data base and maintain competitive pricing/quoting.
You will have:
- Sales experience within shipping, freight forwarding or logistics.
- Experience utilising Cargowise / Logixboard.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- Personable, energetic, and communicative as well as being organised and time efficient.
- Desire to be a part of/and appreciation for the challenges and rewards of working in a growing business.
