About the role Officeworks is seeking a dynamic and experienced Delivery Lead to join our Insights, Data and Analytics team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing project delivery, providing specialist knowledge, and offering high-level technical support for our data platforms.

This includes Officeworks Data Warehouse, Officeworks Insights, Data and Analytics platform (ODAP), and various bespoke data marts and operational systems like Adobe Campaign.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead project delivery and provide high-level technical support for data platforms including Officeworks Data Warehouse, ODAP, and bespoke data systems.

Ensure the design and implementation of solutions that optimize data availability, usability, and timeliness while maintaining governance and security standards.

Coordinate a matrix team to develop, deploy, and support data platforms and applications.
Manage agile ceremonies, refine backlog items, and maintain project artifacts.
Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to provide solution architecture and capability to project teams.
Transition projects from development to business as usual (BAU) and track benefits realization.

About you Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
At least 6 years of experience in Insights, Data, and Analytics, with 2+ years in Agile methodologies.
Proven experience working cross-functionally at senior levels and managing in a matrix environment.
Experience delivering projects and enhancements.

Skills and Attributes:
Extensive experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Data Management.
Proficiency in project planning and tracking tools (e.g., MS Planner, Trello, JIRA).
Strategic thinking and high-level influencing skills.
Strong commercial acumen, planning, and organizational skills.
Effective project management in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Advanced problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative mindset.
Passion for data and analytics solutions and emerging technologies.
Strong attention to detail.
