About the role

  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • Work 8am4pm across 5 days, Monday-Friday.
  • Lead by example and help manage your team of baristas and front of house staff.
  • Facilitate the workplace training experience for
    STREAT's young trainees, supported by our dedicated youth programs team who are always on hand to support you and your team.
  • Work closely with the cafe manager to ensure:
  • Health and safety requirements are met.
  • Daytoday operations of the cafe run smoothly, whilst always striving for exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a pristine space, and take pride in the fine details.

About you

We'd love for you to have:

  • A genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
  • Outstanding all round knowledge of Melbourne's food and coffee culture.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • A desire to help foster an exceptional hospitality experience for every customer.
  • Some experience in specialty coffee is essential.

We're a team of over 90 staff - mainly baristas and chefs - but also youth workers, social workers and a bunch of admin and support staff.
