Unite Resourcing has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cultural Liaison Officer to lead the successful integration of the local community and stakeholders with the rebuilding of a community in our North West, as result of a natural disaster. This role will see you manage engagement strategies, work closely with the onsite trainer and assessor in the community upskilling program and identify any local and cultural concerns pertaining to the project.
You will be motivated by the vision to leave a long term footprint from projects that you work and you will be driven to achieve project milestones and the achievement of an aligned vision with your team.
Your career will highlight the following areas and attributes:
- 3+ years' practical experience in a similar role
- Prior mining or construction industry experience, essential
- Demonstrated commitment to a safety culture
- Indepth understanding of community engagement strategies
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a modern day and practical approach
- Highlevel verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with people from all back grounds, demonstrating respect and clarity to all stakeholders.
- An understanding of the project life cycle and key milestone achievements.
- You will thrive on autonomy and leadership.
- A love of our land and it's people.
