The Digital Services Directorate delivers future-focused digital solutions, infrastructure and services that aim to improve experiences for our staff, researchers, students and prospective students at CQUniversity.

They connect the University community by providing robust, high-performance networks, communication systems and business-critical IT systems to support academic experience and our staff members day-to-day work tasks.

Through the library services, we strive to enhance the academic experience by providing engaging study spaces, easy to access resources and comprehensive support and guidance for both students and staff.


We are currently seeking a Client Service Officer with excellent communication skills to provide a range of administrative, technical, project and client support functions at the CQUniversity Melbourne library information desk.


The successful applicant will provide advice and support to our students and staff on a broad range of enquiries and issues, including but not limited to library services, locating print and online information, resolution of basic ICT problems and use of learning delivery/study support systems.

You will also assist a broader range of clients electronically and via phone/video.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience working in a library or client service environment.
  • Knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge of CQUniversity policies and complex procedural requirements.
  • Problem solving, planning and time management skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of business support software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
