The Opportunity


Reporting through to the General Manager, this is a new position that is being introduced to help the business keep pace with growth and continue to deliver on their commitment to customer - quality combined with unsurpassed reliability.


The purpose of the position is to ensure that all Fencing and Gate installation projects are started on time, completed on time, installed within budget and delivered to the agreed professional Otter Fencing standard.


This will involve:

  • Working in collaboration with the Estimating Team to plan and coordinate the projects they win.
  • Supervising our subcontracting Fencing Installers and the work they do onsite.


It is anticipated that you will spend 50% of your time in the office working in collaboration with our experienced Estimating Team to plan and coordinate the projects we win.

These projects will be for the supply and installation of steel and mesh fencing and gate solutions both to industrial and commercial construction sites for the most part across metropolitan Melbourne.


The other important key focus area in this role will be to spend 50% of your time supervising our subcontracting Fencing Installers and they work they are doing onsite.

This position is ideally suited to an experienced Fencing Installer, Landscaper, Building Tradesperson, Contract Administrator and/or Project Coordinator who is seeking a dynamic and fast paced role within a growing business that is well established and has good values.

  • Great communication skills you'll articulate your messages clearly and have that natural ability to engage and collaborate with others, to bring them along on the journey;
  • The knack for problem solving tackling a problem head on and coming up with the best practical solution will come naturally to you;
  • Good planning and organisation skills having a good plan going into each day is really important here, same too is the ability to think on your feet and juggle things around effectively when priorities change;
  • Sound computer skills you'll be a confident user of technology and understand it's place and importance in business, and;
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
