Job Summary:

The Red Hat Global Workplace Solutions team is seeking a Workplace Manager I to join the team at our [Site] location. This individual will collaborate with a local and regional team of facility operations professionals to support site management. The main responsibilities include:

  • Driving office services & programs
  • Implementing GWS initiatives
  • Office communications
  • Space utilization management
  • Identifying trends, patterns & relationships in data analytics
  • Finance tracking, budgeting & invoice processing
  • Event planning, meeting support, vendor management, phone support, visitor management, logistics, ticket management, and office space maintenance

First Point of Contact:

  • Serving as the primary POC for associates, customers, vendors, property management, and other guests
  • Employee resource management
  • Responsible for front-of-house presentability/presence and meeting room readiness
  • Managing phone support for the local site and shared regional phone queue, visitor check-in, and badge administration
  • Maintaining exceptional customer service delivery

Workplace Management:

  • Driving office services, programs, and GWS initiatives
  • Supporting the regional program team with Team Lead responsibilities
  • Managing space utilization and furniture/equipment layouts
  • Overseeing regional projects from start to finish
  • Ensuring workplace compliance with health, safety & environment policies
  • Coordinating with Red Hat Branding for effective site branding
  • Facility maintenance and operational efficiency

Finance:

  • Creating, tracking, and forecasting site budgets
  • Managing invoices, expenses, and purchase orders
  • Vendor selection, quality control, and contract review

Skills/Competencies/Experience:

  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Emphasis on empathy, positive language, clear communication strategies
  • Organizational skills
  • Capable of managing relationships and expectations
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Data utilization for problem-solving
  • Quick independent action and value addition
