Talent International is currently recruiting for a
APS3 Operations Officer to work for one of our
Federal Government clients based in
Newcastle or Taree.

The position is
12-month contract role with the possibility of extension and are paying
$37.36 per day + Super
.
7.6 hours per day and 38 hours per week.

Position Requirements:


The position will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge across service delivery areas and may undertake some research and analysis activities with support from experienced members of the team.


The APS3 Operations Officer will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve general enquiries.


Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Undertaking project coordination activities including related administrative tasks and functions.
  • Monitoring and actioning correspondence, assigning and actioning internal work items within service standards.
  • Assisting with mandatory training requests and arrangements.
  • Inputting, collating, interpreting and analysing data to produce reports and dashboards that inform strategic and operational planning.
  • Contributing to the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
  • Providing secretariat support, including the coordination of speakers and key messages, agendas, minute taking and scribing.
  • Contributing to the Innovation portfolio and the methodology to progress ideas across key decision making bodies, specifically supporting NSW and ACT Innovation members, Subject Matter Experts and associated stakeholders.

Additional Requirement:

  • We are looking for an experience administration officer with skills in Microsoft office suit especially experience working with
    MS Teams and SharePoint, responsibilities will include triage of incoming enquiries, data entry, minute taking, interview scheduling (appointment booking), internal customer service, and understand relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
  • Experience with project work will be advantageous but not necessary. Our team is focused on delivery a high standard of work to enable the National Delivery team to deliver a world leading disability insurance scheme for the Australian public.
