This brand are multidimensional in that they deliver their product direct to market and offer a comprehensive solution for the abatement space, so they can offer their customers far more than their competitors in a market that is fast changing toward energy efficiency.


This business have an incredible leadership team that have evidently built a sound culture with talented staff developing the brand, strong technical teams plus operations who drive a large corporation, and leadership that is felt from the top down by keeping family values close though they have grown in to a large, leading organisation.


The position
This role is leading the Heat Pump product Sales division to the Trade, Plumbers, Builders & Construction markets.

This role as the Sales Manager will see you with National scope and initiating the relationship development and business development for this area and then build your team of Sales Reps under you in various territories, but you will not have any reps under you from the start.


The focus right now is to drive new relationships in the plumbers and construction market, enhancing relationships, opening new channels and establishing this brand and product in to new territories and then managing those relationships.


  • Develop relationships with Plumbers, Builders & Construction markets
  • Create new partnership agreements for supply of Heat Pump products
  • Promote the brand and the products to new channel partners
  • Increase market share of the product sales to the hot water services industry
  • Manage new relationships and be the trusted advisor for customers
  • Nurture growth of your accounts and harness those partnerships
  • Work alongside the directors in devising best strategy for client engagement
  • Use market knowledge, insights and intel to capitalise on market share
  • Semiautonomous work life balance, from office, from home & on the road
  • Manage staff and associates under you to support your division once its time to start hiring for that, initially it will be yourself and the management team

The experience necessary:


To be considered for this role you must come from the Heat Pump / Hot Water Services market with a track record of Sales and Relationships to Plumbers, Plumbing, Trade and Builders markets where you have managed transacted sales and managed sales relationships in that are for this product.


It is essential you have experience in Sales to the customers in this target market as this role is going to be establishing new channels of product supply to these customers in plumbers, builders and construction.


The main requirements are:

  • Experience from the Hot Water Services Heat Pump market
  • Sales experience in transacting, account managing and selling
  • Relationship management with plumbers and plumbing markets
  • Experienced in new business development to target markets
  • Proven track record of increasing brand awareness and sales revenue
  • Experienced in winning new clients and new sales
  • Knowledge of the industry to Hot Water and Heat Pumps
  • Ability to draw on market insights and market knowledge
  • Has clear drive and motivation and a passion for customer success
