This position is open to candidates looking for long-term employment.

The Role
The successful candidate will strengthen the business's client base, through nurturing relationships with existing clients and by bringing on board new clients. They will consult with senior management and develop growth strategies for implementation across the business. Their duties and responsibilities include:

  • Pricing of painting packages for projects.
  • Review of tender documents (Finishes Schedules, Drawings, Scope of Works, etc.).
  • Review the measurements provided to you by the Estimators.
  • Rate the provided Bill of Quantities and create the quote.
  • Negotiating prices to secure work.
  • Review Builder & Subcontractor Contracts.
  • Build relationships with clients (including attending social events).
  • Liaise with site team as needed (PM, Supervisors, Sub-Contractors, etc.).
  • Assess and submit variations.
  • MANAGE your projects from start to end (site performance, profit & loss, client relationship etc.).

Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Experience in Painting industry and processes is vital.
  • Industry contacts in construction an advantage.
  • Understanding of the Construction Industry and related practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, finishes, schedules, scope of works, specifications, etc.
