_We are looking for the next Manager for the Business Services Group, Payment Settlement department. _
This role is part of the Business Services Group, Payments Settlements department.

Business Services Group is responsible for the provision of banking and payments services to Australian Government agencies, the provision of payment settlement services to Australian financial system participants through the Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System (RITS) and the Fast Settlement Service (FSS), the conduct of Exchange Settlement Accounts and the production and issuance of Australian banknotes.


Objectives of the role

  • Create an RBA values aligned culture, enabling an environment for high levels of employee engagement and achievement.
  • Contribute to the broader strategic direction and leadership of the area, sharing accountability with other leaders for overall performance of deliverables and outcomes to meet the current and future needs of the Bank.
  • Manage the delivery of PS's cyber projects, including the development of business specifications.
  • Coordinate and manage the business analysis activities of PS projects as required.
  • Coordinate periodic external penetration and related testing of PS's mission critical systems.
  • Manage the Bank's compliance against the Swift CSP security standards.
  • Assist as required in the development of briefing notes and project documentation for PS projects.
  • Act as a PS business project manager on projects as required.

Your background

  • Professional certification in a widely used project management methodology such as PRINCE
  • Knowledge of security controls required for critical systems.
  • Knowledge of resilience measures and requirements for critical systems.
