The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Procurement Team, taking on a key role responsible for managing a substantial portion of our operations. As the leader of our Indirect Spend across both the Arnott's and Campbell's portfolios, you will be at the forefront of our procurement strategy. Acting as the linchpin between our suppliers and business partners, you will drive significant business results by enhancing value, fostering innovation, and building a resilient and sustainable supply chain.
Reporting directly to the Group Procurement Manager, this 12-month contract offers a dynamic opportunity to influence the future of procurement within our organization. Join us in shaping a brighter future and making a meaningful impact.
The Accountabilities
- Develop and implement category strategy of $32m spend for assigned categories aligned with overall business
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure supplier performance to meet business objectives
- Optimise total cost of ownership while maintaining quality and service
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies
- Provide timely reporting and analysis on procurement metrics and activities
The Ingredients for Success
Just like you can't make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:
- 10 + years in procurement as a Procurement Category Manager
- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrate experience in building a Category/Sourcing strategy to challenge status quo
- Good planning skills and efficient time management to execute end-to-end tender process, negotiation process, and implementation of the result
- Good stakeholder management and positive influencer of teams with strong communication skill to manage contracts
