The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Arnott's. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our strategic partnership with Coles, one of Australia's leading retailers.

Reporting directly to the National Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing a significant $460M in retail sales value, ensuring seamless collaboration and accountability across all key stakeholder groups, including category management, planning, marketing, finance, and customer teams.

Your leadership will be instrumental in the successful execution and delivery of our future strategic plans, driving continued success and mutual growth.

The Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive promotional strategy to optimize trade spend, drive sales growth, and achieve market share objectives.
  • Deliver precise forecasting rationales and assumptions, closely aligned with annual strategic plans and prioritized objectives.
  • Lead comprehensive range reviews, fostering collaboration to ensure seamless alignment between supply and market demand.
  • Maintain accurate financial projections, synchronized with demand planning and promotional cycles.
The Ingredients for Success

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in business or a related field.
  • 5-10 years' experience in FMCG sales, grocery, or independent retail.
  • Experience navigating platforms such as Quantium Checkout, Synergy, IRI, or Nielsen.
  • Data and commercial acumen, with the ability to present findings to key stakeholder groups.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing customer landscape.
